During the summer Sundance Ski Resort opens up the ski lift on nights when there is a full moon so you and that "Special Someone" can snuggle close together for a chilling 30 minutes and enjoy the view by moonlight! :) Me and Jeff and stopped up at Sundance on our sunday drive through the canyon and decided we wanted to try it out. It ended up being FREEZING! Luckily I grabbed a blanket as I was running out the door. (Jeff was in a Tee shirt, shorts and sandals) But it was great we snuggled close and had a great time! I tried to get some pictures of the view but it didn't work out as well as I thought it would...

4th of July Weekend!
Get ready for a long on folks! So this year me and Jeff had to stay here in Utah for the 4th of July because of my work. (Nordstrom owns my soul) To say Jeff was bummed would the understatement of the year. He grew up spending every 4th of July on the beach with friends, family, surfing and all that fun stuff. So I wanted to make it a fun weekend and do different things than we normally do, and out here in Utah 4th of July is a month long event! so we started off on Saturday the 2nd going to the Freedom Days Festival. Shopping, eating and watching crazy people.
YUM!
Then we went to dinner with a couple of our married friends and rushed over to a golf course to watch the fire works after the Stadium of Fire concert! One of the guys had glow in the dark golf balls so everyone were able to hit a few in the dark!
The fire works were so fun!
Then on sunday we took a really great drive through the American Fork canyon. It was so pretty and the weather was perfect! we stopped for a sec to take a quick pic at the top. It's hard to tell from the picture but the view was beautiful!
So to wrap this post up we went on a couple bike rides, sat by the pool, I ate ANOTHER funnel cake (yum yum) and for dinner we went to the best place we could think of... CAFE RIO! :)
We had an amazing 4th of July together and I can't wait for many many more to come! :)

First attempt!
The black paint on our coffee table was so scuffed and really needed to be painted,. So this weekend I decided that i wanted to paint it from black to white. Jeff wasn't sold on it but let me do it anyway. :) Neither me or Jeff had really done this before with furniture and so we just went with what we thought we should do. I don't think it turned out horrible, I actually really like it! (Jeff needs more convincing...) but we definitely learned a few things that we will do differently next time! Oh! and we still have to do the end table to match it! :)
Before:
And After!!!!!
I painted the knobs silver for now but I am going to replace them with a pretty crystal looking knob!
