Oh Baby!

It's about time that I update the blog about our news that we have! And so it is that we are having a BABY! Jeffrey and I are both so excited but even now, me being 4 months along, it still doesn't feel 100% real! We have waited a long time for this little one and cannot wait until he or she is here in May 2013.

We found out about our little one right before our 2 year wedding anniversary. It was such a great gift (and I think we were still processing it) that we decided not to do anything big or exchange gifts and just relax all weekend and of course eat. :) We really wanted to surprise our families and knew they would be so excited and shocked so we got everyone together for a BBQ at our place, called it a "house warming" party and then boom smacked them in the face with the news right before prayer! It was great!

The first few months were pretty rough. I was very sick and thought that there was no end in sight. Then right around 14 weeks I saw the light. Now I am able to actually eat real food (no more soup for me please!) and have energy to actually go to the store to get things we need. I am still working on the energy to clean my house. :) Anyway, I am 17 weeks along and I sometimes feel little things here and there but nothing too big. Maybe in the next week or so I will feel more movement! We can't wait to find out what it is with in the next few weeks! I'll try and be better about updates! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karly and TJ's Wedding!

In July Karly and TJ tied the not! It was a beautiful day which made it a perfect day for a wedding. They were sealed in LA and then we went back to Chino to party our booties off! Karly looked beautiful and we are so happy for them!

I think it's about time...

It's been awhile and LOTS has happened since I've last blogged! 

First up!

Ryan turned NINE! I cannot believe that my baby nephew is 9! Where has the time gone? I feel like it was just yesterday that I was babysitting him all summer when he was a newborn! :( but you are such an awesome boy Ry and I love you!

Next was Miss Kurly Kin's bridal shower! we had lots of fun having girl time and embarrassing Karly! :)

Then Blake, Amber and the kids came into town for Karly's wedding! Oh how I love when they visit! We all do! They need to move back to California ASAP! Until they do we can just look through the pics of when they were here.

First they came down and visited me and we took a trip to the beach. We moved to Dana Point and there is a great beach here for the kids to boogie board to perfect size waves for them! and Jade did her own thing... which is be really cute! Duh! :)

Then we had our annual 4th of July car races over at our Grandma and Grandpa Rhoads'! I am so thankful that we were all together this 4th of July as it was the last one the we got to spend with my Grandpa Rhoads. He left us on July 11th and although I am grate ful that he is no longer in any pain I miss him and love him and I know that I will see him again one day!

A Quick Get Away!

A few weeks ago Jeff and I had a three day weekend and wanting to take advantage of that time together we got in the car and drove to San Francisco! We got there late friday night and we were able to go walk and get some dinner. We spent the next day doing the whole tourist thing visiting all the popular sites and of course eating! :)

Such a fun last minute trip!
