Distance

Jeff has been away on a business trip for FIVE days... I know five days is nothing compared to what other wives have to go through but man is it tough. I have had a rough couple of days at work and I just miss coming home to him and forgetting about my stress from work. And trying to sleep? Forget about it!

BUT... This guy comes home tomorrow morning and I can't wait!!!!

Cody Bean the Baller

My little brother in law is a B-Baller! ha He plays on San Clemente's high school Varsity team and Jeff and I love to go to the games and cheer him on!  This week Jeff was out of town and he missed a good one! Cody played a ton, scored a few point and got in a couple fights! And to top it off... THEY WON! Woot Woot! I had my camera there and I really loved getting some pictures of him in action. I'm pretty sure I embarrassed him but what are big sisters for right?! :)

Surfer Boy

So if you haven't already heard my husband is such a surf bum! When we lived in Utah for our first year of marriage he missed the surf so much I felt bad when he would talk about it. So since moving down here to San Clemente I try to encourage him to go early in the mornings before work. ( Or I might just love having the bed to myself for a couple hours. ;) Either way I love that Jeff has a passion for something and I enjoy watching him. We both had this past Monday off so I told him I wanted to wake up and go watch him and take some pictures with my new camera! It was so beautiful for the first hour then the fog rolled in and it became FREEZING so we ran home and got back into our warm bed. Here are a few good photos before the fog!

Christmas Time is Here!

So this Christmas was mine and Jeff's first christmas since moving back to California and I was so excited to spend time with our families and really enjoy the time with them without having to rush off to the next party. As tradition goes we go to my Mom's house for Christmas Eve. Unfortunately I didn't have my amazing Christmas present from Jeff yet, ( I got a Canon Rebel T2i!!! ) so there are no pictures from that party :( We opened up our annual Christmas Eve PJ shirts, ate, laughed and skyped with Amber, Blake and the babies in Kansas! 

BUT! the biggest thing that happened this Christmas Eve was Miss Kurly Kins got engaged to her now Fiance TJ! 

Congrats Kurls and TJ! We are soooooo happy for you guys! Let the wedding planning begin! :)

On Christmas morning we woke up at Jeffrey's parent's house and went to church then came home and opened up our Christmas. Wow, I was spoiled this year! We lounged around, ate, slept and then headed over to Jeffrey's Grandparents house for dinner. My mom and Val come over too and we all had fun playing games! 

A few days after Christmas we went out to my Dad's house to celebrate Christmas with him and Shelley!  We had a "Very Merry Pinterest Christmas!" It was a lot of fun! Shelley Pretty much made a lot of the girls gifts from ideas off of Pinterest! It was so much fun!

We had such an amazing holiday with all of our families and I am truly so thankful for our family and friends!
