It's a.......

So it turns out that I am a  little behind on my blogging about Baby. Exhaustion, work and eating has been taking over my life. but in that time we found out that we are in fact have a little GIRL!!!!!

We actually had found out pretty early, (around 13 weeks, clearly I have NO patience) :) but I found a place that would give us a 99% on whether we were to expect a little surfer boy or girly girl as long as baby was measuring 13 weeks! Now before this whenever Jeffrey and I would talk about when we would have our kids we had agreed that we would both like to have a boy first. (as if we got to decide, haha) and when we finally got pregnant we could only think of boy names and kinda just thought ok well it's a boy. So when we were sitting there in that room and those ladies told us 99% girl you could have heard a pin drop. I just started laughing and Jeff was unsure of what to think. I think it came as a bigger shock to him. After a few hours the shock wore off and I started thinking about my little girl. We are both so happy Jeff is going to be such an amazing dad and I know she will have him wrapped around her little finger. And when I think about how close I am to my mom and the relationship we have together I cannot wait to have that with my daughter.

So at my 20 week appointment when the ultrasound tech asked me if we knew what were were having I smiled and said, "Kind of, I went to a place at 13 weeks and they told me." She laughed and said that they are always wrong. But turns out they were right! Here's baby girl at 20 weeks smiling at me and the ultrasound tech and showing us her lady parts to prove she is a she!
